Opus People Solutions Limited is recruiting for a Housing Options Advisor with a Local Authority client in Kettering, Northamptonshire. The role is 37 hours per week with hybrid working (4 days on-site per week and 1 day working from home) and £30.00 per hour Umbrella (£23.50 PAYE).

Qualifications

• Experience delivering homelessness prevention or housing options services.
• Ability to assess homelessness applications and apply relevant guidance.
• Experience managing complex caseloads with vulnerable clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial homelessness assessments and housing needs triage.
• Assess eligibility, homelessness status and priority need, and duties owed.
• Prevent homelessness through advice, advocacy, and negotiation.
• Complete FHAs and develop Personal Housing Plans.
• Manage caseload and ensure compliance with legislation and case law.
• Liaise with landlords, support agencies and partners to secure outcomes.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and support vulnerable adults and families.
• Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service improvements.
