Cumberland Council in Whitehaven is seeking a Housing Options Officer to support households facing homelessness. You will provide advice and practical help to resolve housing solutions and make statutory decisions under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
The role requires handling complex cases with health and welfare considerations, and it offers a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, and a salary of £35,570 to £36,581 per year.
Working with households who are homeless, or threatened with homelessness, you will offer advice and assistance to resolve their housing solutions, as well as making statutory decisions under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. This will often be complex situations involving multiple health and welfare issues.
