Job summary

Wrexham County Borough Council invites applications for the Housing Options Accommodation Officer role within the Housing Options Team. You will be the single point of contact for temporary accommodation and coordinate all aspects of the process with service users and colleagues.

You will be responsible for managing the Council’s stock of temporary accommodation to maximise revenue for the team and allocating temporary accommodation to homeless applicants.

Job description

As the Housing Options Accommodation Officer you will be the single point of contact for temporary accommodation within the Housing Options Team.

You will be responsible for communicating all aspects of the process to the service user and to process any concerns or enquiries.

You will be required to manage the Council’s stock of temporary accommodation in order to maximise revenue for the team and to be responsible for allocating temporary accommodation to homeless applicants.

You will report directly to the Housing Options Accommodation Team Leader and be required to support the Team Leader in delivering the services / projects in line with key corporate strategies.
