South Lanarkshire Council, based in Hamilton, is inviting applications for a Housing Officer to deliver a wide range of housing services to customers.

The role is 17.5 hours per week, permanent, with a pattern across weekdays; salary £16,734 to £17,199 per year. Applicants should understand homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery and anti-social behaviour, and have strong IT and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing services and knowledge of homelessness, allocations, rent recovery, and anti-social behaviour.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to organise and prioritise workload in a changing environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with diverse agencies.
