Job summary

St Leger Homes of Doncaster is seeking a proactive Housing Officer to join our South Area Housing Management Team. You will deliver a comprehensive tenancy and estate management service, supporting tenants to sustain tenancies and working with partner agencies on anti-social behaviour issues.

The role requires knowledge of housing management and legislation, excellent communication, and strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supporting tenants and helping them sustain successful tenancies.
• Investigating and resolving breaches of tenancy conditions and anti-social behaviour.
• Carrying out home visits, estate inspections and communal area checks.
• Working closely with residents, local communities and partner agencies.
• Identifying opportunities to improve neighbourhoods and community wellbeing.
• Maintaining accurate records and managing cases effectively.
• Being a visible and approachable presence within the communities you serve.

No two days are the same. One day you could be supporting a tenant to sustain their tenancy, the next you could be working with partner agencies to tackle low to medium anti-social behaviour or resolving tenancy breaches.
