Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council in Hamilton is seeking a Housing Officer to deliver a wide range of housing services to customers. You will work with homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery and anti-social behaviour issues, requiring strong IT skills and effective workload management.

You will collaborate with a variety of agencies, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing priorities to ensure a high-quality housing service for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing services and a good understanding of homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery and dealing with anti-social behaviour.
• Excellent IT skills and the ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of agencies.
