Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a Housing Officer (Dispersal Accommodation) to support vulnerable individuals across Milton Keynes. The role focuses on welfare, safety, and successful move-on from dispersal accommodation.

You will manage a large caseload and oversee a portfolio of properties to ensure they are safe, well-maintained, and compliant. This dynamic role requires resilience and a genuine passion for helping people.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, support work, or a similar role.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of safeguarding (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 200-250 Service Users.
• Carry out welfare checks and property visits.
• Coordinate repairs and ensure properties meet health & safety standards.
• Signpost individuals to services such as healthcare and local support agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and support move-on in line with contractual requirements.
