Job summary

Turning Point Scotland is seeking a Lead Practitioner for our Dumfries & Galloway Housing First Service, working across Dumfries, Lockerbie and Annan. This permanent, full-time role (37 hours) offers a salary of £28,255 to £31,777 and an on-call rota every six weeks, with no sleepovers.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with complex needs.
• Experience in trauma-informed care.
• Strong IT and record-keeping skills.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support service users as they move into their permanent home.
• Attend health, benefits appointments and court appearances.
• Build positive relationships with partner agencies across housing, health, substance use and criminal justice.
• Provide practical and emotional support while championing harm reduction.
