Job summary

Turning Point Scotland is seeking a Lead Practitioner to join our frontline Housing First team, supporting people with complex needs to move into permanent housing and sustain tenancy.

The role requires trauma-informed, person-centred practice, safeguarding awareness, and strong multi-agency collaboration across housing, health, substance misuse and criminal justice. IT skills are essential.

• Experienced with people who have complex needs and safeguarding requirements.
• Demonstrates trauma-informed, strengths-based practice in frontline support.
• Proven ability to work across housing, health, substance misuse and criminal justice partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred frontline support.
• Lead by example and model trauma-informed, strengths-based practice.
• Support customers to move into and sustain permanent accommodation.
• Provide guidance and practice support to colleagues.
• Work closely with partner agencies across housing, health, substance misuse, and criminal justice.
• Champion harm reduction, choice, and positive risk-taking.
