Job summary

Turning Point Scotland is seeking a Support Practitioner to help adults with learning disabilities in North Lanarkshire. The role involves 1:1 or small-team support, helping clients engage in hobbies, attend groups, and participate in community activities.

You will receive full training, with driving license and access to a vehicle essential for service delivery. A rewarding role within a committed team, based in North Lanarkshire.

Qualifications

• No previous working experience is needed.
• Full training will be provided in supporting people with complex needs.
• A driving licence and car are essential for this role.
• IT skills are required for all vacancies.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, 1:1 or in a team.
• Support individuals in the community and help them pursue hobbies and interests.
• Accompany service users to activities, holidays and trips.
• Assist with personal care and wellbeing.
• Celebrate achievements to create a rewarding environment.
