Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is looking for a dedicated team member to support the day-to-day management of our residential and office accommodation. Working alongside the Housing & Estates Coordinator, you will cover housing management, rent and housing benefit administration, utilities, property compliance and general estates support.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Broad understanding of Scottish housing legislation and awareness of Housing Benefit legislation.
  • Experience of customer engagement.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others and on your own initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of residential and office accommodation.

The role:

Working alongside the Housing & Estates Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day management of our residential and office accommodation. This is a varied role covering housing management, rent and housing benefit administration, utilities, property compliance and general estates support.

Most importantly, you'll help ensure that the people who use our services have access to good-quality, safe and well-maintained accommodation that supports them to live full and inclusive lives.

To be part of our team, we'll need you to have:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A broad understanding of Scottish housing legislation and awareness of Housing Benefit legislation
