The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a compassionate Support Practitioner, part-time (25 hours per week), to assist a gentleman in daily living within his new home. Training will be provided, including a fully funded SVQ.
The role involves supporting with medication, finances, housework, meals and personal care, while promoting independence and meaningful activities. No prior care experience is required; we hire on values and transferable skills, and provide comprehensive training to help

This service supports a gentleman in his new home with general day‑to‑day living, mobility, day‑to‑day living and promoting independence.

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland provides personalised and outcome‑focused support to over 2,800 individuals in their own homes across Scotland, making us the country's largest provider of social care. We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse and autism. Some of the people we support can present challenging behaviour or require a high level of personal care.
As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of their daily lives, including support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care. The people we support have a variety of different hobbies which we’ll be looking to you to take an active interest in, from going out for a tasty bite or catching the latest movie to a gym session or group activity, the list is endless.
