Job summary

British Engineering Services Group is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer (Housing) to perform electrical testing in social housing across the Lincolnshire and Yorkshire areas. The role includes domestic and communal testing and completing remedial works as needed.

You will work individually or in a team, ensuring high standards, adhering to BS7671 and company health and safety policies, and recording documentation via CRM systems.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation work (e.g. C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (2394/2395).
• BS7671 18th edition (or willing to achieve before starting).

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical testing in domestic/communal areas.
• Carry out remedial works identified during testing.
• Record electrical documentation using CRM and reporting software.
• Liaise with tenants and customers and manage stock in the van.
