Job Title: Disrepair / Housing Management Solicitor

PQE: NQ – 3 Years PQE

Location: Liverpool (with hybrid working available)

Hours: Full-time or part-time (Monday – Friday, flexible)

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and ambitious Disrepair / Housing Management Solicitor to join a top-tier law firm in Liverpool, renowned for its commitment to social justice and client care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Represent landlords in defending pre-action and litigated housing disrepair claims
2. Deliver expert advice on housing condition issues and housing management matters
3. Act on behalf of landlords in anti-social behaviour cases and breach of tenancy injunctions
4. Handle ombudsman complaints and provide updates on legislative changes
5. Conduct County Court advocacy across a variety of hearings
6. Build strong client relationships and ensure top-level client service is maintained
7. Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment
8. Drive business development initiatives and support the continued growth of the team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

1. Experience in housing disrepair and a strong understanding of social housing law
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, practical legal advice
3. A proactive, solution-focused approach with commercial awareness
4. Solid knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and strong advocacy skills
5. A collaborative mindset and passion for delivering outstanding client outcomes
6. Experience working with or on behalf of Registered Providers of Social Housing
