Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a interim housing development lead in Greenwich for a 6‑month contract to support the Council's housing programme. The role concentrates on planning, development and delivery of residential schemes, working with internal teams, consultants and external partners to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing development or regeneration is required.
• Experience with Handovers and Defects Liability Periods.
• Degree or equivalent in Housing, Construction, Property, Regeneration or Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the execution of current housing development projects and identify new opportunities.
• Oversee and coordinate development projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Assist in procurement and management of consultants, contractors, developers and advisers.
• Support project activities through design, planning and construction phases.
• Aid in commercial negotiations and decision-making for projects.
• Collaborate with Housing, Property, Legal, Finance, Procurement and Regeneration teams.
