Job summary

Together Housing is offering a Housing Customer Service Apprentice role in Blackburn. You will start in our Customer Service Centre, delivering outstanding service via phone, email and digital channels while training for the Level 3 Service in Housing Apprenticeship.

You will rotate across departments to gain sector knowledge, receive mentoring, and complete off‑the‑job learning. The programme runs for 20 months with a salary starting at £15,392 in year 1 and flexible progression.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service across telephone, email and digital channels.
• Support customers with a wide range of enquiries while learning from experienced colleagues and Team Leaders.
• Develop the skills to resolve customer enquiries at the first point of contact wherever possible.
• Learn how to use customer management systems accurately and efficiently.
• Escalate enquiries appropriately where specialist support is required.
• Successfully complete the Level 3 Service in Housing Apprenticeship, attending all workshops and assessments.
• Complete off‑job learning and apply new knowledge in day‑to‑day work.
• Gain experience across teams such as Repairs & Maintenance, Neighbourhood Services, Housing Management, and more.
