Job summary

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Services Officer to join a housing organisation on a temporary basis until the end of March 2027. The role provides frontline support to tenants, residents and applicants, handling a range of repairs and maintenance enquiries.

The position is based in Glasgow and involves high-volume contact via telephone, email and in person. Key responsibilities include triaging repairs, arranging appointments, liaising with contractors and internal teams, and

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience, ideally within housing association, local authority or similar environment.
• Excellent communication skills, strong IT and administrative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handling high-volume telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
• Logging and triaging repairs, identifying emergency, urgent and routine issues.
• Arranging appointments and liaising with contractors and internal teams.
• Providing housing information, advice and signposting.
• Identifying and escalating safeguarding, health & safety and emergency issues.
• Supporting reception and general administrative duties.
