Job summary

South West London Law Centres is seeking a Housing Caseworker to join our Housing Team in London. The role involves managing an independent caseload and undertaking Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme work at Croydon, Wandsworth and Kingston courts, supporting clients facing homelessness, eviction, repossession and disrepair.

We welcome applicants with casework experience who want to deepen their expertise in housing law.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing casework is preferred.
• Formal legal qualifications are not essential; training and supervision will be provided.
• This is a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Manage an independent caseload within the Housing Team.
• Perform Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme work at Croydon, Wandsworth and Kingston courts.
• Support people facing homelessness, eviction, repossession and other housing problems.
