Job summary

Harlow District Council is seeking a Technical Support Officer in Harlow to provide expert advice and support to managers and employees across all aspects of employee relations casework.

Reporting to the Lead ER Manager, you will work with partners to deliver an effective People service across the organisation, including housing administration and asset management tasks, training and database access, and daily tenant interactions.

Qualifications

• Background in housing administration and technical support for asset management and compliance.
• Understand the relationship between capital and revenue budgets in repairs and capital investment.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety relating to technical housing repairs.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with Asset Management providing support to tenants, internal and external colleagues.
• Helping coordinate stock condition surveys/Energy Performance Surveys
• Dealing with enquiries and providing a written/oral response as required
• Undertaking general administration e.g. minute taking, preparing reports, supporting housing analysts, and detailed record keeping.
• Help with user training and facilitate access to databases
• Dealing with tenants/leaseholders daily
