Job summary

Splendid Hospitality Group in York is seeking a Housekeeping Team Member for The Grand - York. This zero-hours role focuses on delivering high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort in guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.

You will work as part of a supportive team to maintain pristine environments, respond to guest requests with warmth, and uphold safety and hygiene practices across the hotel. Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Taking pride in maintaining guest rooms, corridors, and service areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Replenishing guest supplies and amenities to ensure every room is fully prepared and welcoming.
• Responding to guest requests with warmth and efficiency, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or hazards promptly, supporting a safe and smooth-running hotel.
• Helping with monitoring supplies and minimise waste across all housekeeping areas.
• Collaborating with colleagues across departments to deliver seamless service and a memorable guest experience.
