Center Parcs at Whinfell Forest is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader to oversee the public and communal areas, leading and developing a team to uphold the highest cleanliness standards.

This fixed-term role runs until 14 January 2027 and is based on a 4-on, 4-off schedule, 5am–11:30pm. It requires a minimum of 150 hours over four weeks, including mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a housekeeping or facilities team.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills.
• Basic technology literacy (booking systems, tablets).
• Customer-service oriented with a proactive approach.

We're looking for a Housekeeping Team Leader to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our cleaning services. You will lead and motivate a team, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and support training and development initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee Housekeeping operations for public and communal areas across the village
• Lead, train and develop team members to maintain high standards of service
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently achieved
• Monitor and meet departmental targets for efficiency and quality

Your working hours

Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 14th January 2027

• Full-time contract, 4-on 4-off shift pattern, working between 5am and 11:30pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
