Job summary

Leicester Marriott seeks an energetic housekeeping supervisor to lead daily room-cleaning activities and coordinate teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll inspect rooms, manage supplies and respond to guest requests, ensuring impeccable standards across the property.

Join a collaborative team that values guest comfort, quality, and service. Prior supervisory experience is advantageous, with a schedule including weekends and varied shifts to support 40-hour weeks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate housekeeping activity, plan and assign room-cleaning tasks.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure high standards.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or damaged property.
• Respond to guest and Front Desk requests promptly.
• Run reports on arrivals, departures and room readiness.
• Monitor linen supplies and cleaning-product stock levels.
• Order guest amenities and cleaning supplies as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Co-ordinate housekeeping activity, planning and distributing room-cleaning assignments
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas after they’ve been cleaned, to ensure the highest standards are being met
• Identify and report any maintenance issues and missing or damaged property
• Respond to guest and Front Desk requests
• Run reports on arrivals, departures and vacant ready rooms
• Monitor linen and terry inventory to ensure sufficient stock
• Monitor and order guest room amenities and cleaning products
