Job summary

Hiddenwell’s Ardencote Manor is seeking a Nights Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the team and maintain Lux Retreat standards. You’ll oversee Room Attendants, ensure guest spaces are spotless, and work with front of house to manage arrivals and VIPs.

With hands-on leadership, you’ll train colleagues, enforce health and safety, and track stock and maintenance needs to deliver exceptional guest experiences across our luxury wellness retreat.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping supervision is preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Room Attendants, Linen Porters, and Public Area Cleaners.
• Inspect bedrooms and public areas to ensure spotless presentation.
• Collaborate with Reception and other teams for arrivals, departures, and VIP requests.
• Maintain stocked trolleys and cupboards; organise deep cleans and room priorities.
• Act on guest feedback to maintain and improve standards.
• Welcome and train new starters; ensure adherence to health & safety and COSHH.

Nights Housekeeping Supervisor
Ardencote Manor - Hiddenwell | Luxury Wellness Retreat
Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: £29,000 per annum

We’re looking for an organised, hands-on and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team

You’ll play an important role in making sure our bedrooms and public areas look their very best, supporting the housekeeping team throughout the day and helping us deliver the high standards our guests expect

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting and supervising our Room Attendants, Linen Porters and Public Area Cleaners, helping everyone have a successful day
• Inspecting guest bedrooms and public areas, making sure everything is beautifully clean, presented and ready for our guests
• Supporting the guest experience, working closely with Reception and the wider team to manage early arrivals, late departures, room moves, VIPs and special guest requests
• Making sure housekeeping trolleys and cupboards are fully stocked, organise deep cleans and keep the team updated on room priorities
• Helping to continually improve,keeping up to date with guest feedback and take action where needed to maintain and improve our standards
• Helping welcome and train new starters and make sure the team follows our housekeeping, health & safety and COSHH procedures
• Completing regular stock takes, audits, equipment checks and housekeeping records, reporting maintenance or safety issues when needed

What we’re looking for

• Must take pride in creating beautifully clean and welcoming spaces
• Must enjoy leading, motivating and supporting others
• Must have a great eye for detail
• Must be organised and comfortable prioritising a busy workload
• Must be able to communicate confidently with different teams
• Must take guest feedback seriously and looks for ways to improve
• Must understand the importance of health, safety and safe working practices
• Must be happy to be hands-on and help the team when needed

Housekeeping or supervisory experience would be a real advantage

Additional Information

• Full-Time position working 5 out of 7 days per week - including weekends and public holidays
• 40 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: 2.00pm-10.00pm & 3.00pm-11.00pm
• Salary: £29,000 per annum
