Job summary

Ardencote Manor - Hiddenwell | Luxury Wellness Retreat is recruiting a Nights Housekeeping Supervisor. This full-time, permanent role offers £29,000 per annum with shifts 2.00pm-10.00pm or 3.00pm-11.00pm and a 40-hour week.

You will oversee the housekeeping team and ensure high standards across bedrooms and public areas. You will work closely with other departments to manage arrivals and special requests, while upholding health & safety and COSHH procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Room Attendants, Linen Porters and Public Area Cleaners to ensure daily targets.
• Inspect guest bedrooms and public areas for cleanliness and readiness.
• Coordinate with Reception to manage arrivals, departures, room moves and VIP requests.
• Ensure housekeeping trolleys and cupboards are stocked; organise deep cleans.
• Assist in improving standards by reviewing guest feedback and implementing actions.
• Welcome and train new starters; ensure adherence to housekeeping, health & safety and COSHH.
• Record stock takes, audits, equipment checks and report maintenance or safety issues.

We’re looking for an organised, hands‑on and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team

You’ll play an important role in making sure our bedrooms and public areas look their very best, supporting the housekeeping team throughout the day and helping us deliver the high standards our guests expect

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting and supervising our Room Attendants, Linen Porters and Public Area Cleaners, helping everyone have a successful day
• Inspecting guest bedrooms and public areas, making sure everything is beautifully clean, presented and ready for our guests
• Supporting the guest experience, working closely with Reception and the wider team to manage early arrivals, late departures, room moves, VIPs and special guest requests
• Making sure housekeeping trolleys and cupboards are fully stocked, organise deep cleans and keep the team updated on room priorities
• Helping to continually improve,keeping up to date with guest feedback and take action where needed to maintain and improve our standards
• Helping welcome and train new starters and make sure the team follows our housekeeping, health & safety and COSHH procedures
• Completing regular stock takes, audits, equipment checks and housekeeping records, reporting maintenance or safety issues when needed

Housekeeping or supervisory experience would be a real advantage

Additional Information

• Full‑Time position working 5 out of 7 days per week - including weekends and public holidays
• 40 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: 2.00pm-10.00pm & 3.00pm-11.00pm
• Salary: £29,000 per annum
