Job summary

Hiddenwell is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor at Ardencote Manor to lead and support the housekeeping team, ensuring bedrooms and public areas meet luxurious standards. You will coordinate with reception to handle arrivals, departures and VIP requests, while maintaining stock, safety procedures and continuous improvement.

The role is full‑time, 40 hours weekly, with shifts from 7am to 3pm, 12pm to 8pm, or 2pm to 10pm, and a salary of £28,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Room Attendants, Linen Porters and Public Area Cleaners.

• Ensure trolleys and cupboards are stocked; schedule deep cleans.

We’re looking for an organised, hands‑on and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team

You’ll play an important role in making sure our bedrooms and public areas look their very best, supporting the housekeeping team throughout the day and helping us deliver the high standards our guests expect

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting and supervising our Room Attendants, Linen Porters and Public Area Cleaners, helping everyone have a successful day
• Inspecting guest bedrooms and public areas, making sure everything is beautifully clean, presented and ready for our guests
• Supporting the guest experience, working closely with Reception and the wider team to manage early arrivals, late departures, room moves, VIPs and special guest requests
• Making sure housekeeping trolleys and cupboards are fully stocked, organise deep cleans and keep the team updated on room priorities
• Helping to continually improve, keeping up to date with guest feedback and take action where needed to maintain and improve our standards
• Helping welcome and train new starters and make sure the team follows our housekeeping, health & safety and COSHH procedures
• Completing regular stock takes, audits, equipment checks and housekeeping records, reporting maintenance or safety issues when needed

What we’re looking for

• Must be organised and comfortable prioritising a busy workload
• Must be able to communicate confidently with different teams

• Must be happy to be hands‑on and help the team when needed

Housekeeping or supervisory experience would be a real advantage

Additional Information

Full‑Time position working 5 out of 7 days per week - including weekends and public holidays

40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 7am - 3pm, 12pm - 8pm, 2pm - 10pm

Salary: £28,000 per annum
