Job summary

Children's Hospice South West is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Bristol area (Wraxall). This full-time role covers 37 hours across 5 days, including weekends and bank holidays, with salary £26,414–£27,808 per year and an additional £6.75 per hour for weekend/bank holiday shifts.

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles, including supervising a team.
• A strong eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Knowledge of health & safety and cleaning best practice.
• Confidence in leading, motivating and developing others.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• A flexible, positive approach to a varied and active role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support a small, dedicated team of staff and volunteers to deliver exceptional standards.
• Plan and oversee high-quality cleaning schedules across the hospice.
• Manage rotas, performance, and day-to-day operations.
• Ensure outstanding standards of cleanliness, safety and infection control.
• Oversee stock, equipment and housekeeping systems.
• Collaborate closely with care, catering and facilities teams to create a seamless experience for families.
