Job summary

Lakeside Coastal Village, part of Warner Hotels Group, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to cover a maternity leave. You will lead our housekeeping team to uphold high cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities include planning duties, supervising staff, inspecting rooms, training, managing supplies, and ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends or bank

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel, resort, holiday park, or accommodation housekeeping.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.

• A flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

• Respond professionally to guest requests and housekeeping-related complaints.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and shift handover reports.
• Comply with company procedures, hygiene requirements, and safety regulations.

Lakeside Coastal Village is looking for a dedicated, organised, and enthusiastic Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team to cover a period of Maternity Leave. The successful candidate will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout our accommodation and public areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with housekeeping experience and strong leadership skills who takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the housekeeping team, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
• Allocate duties and room assignments according to occupancy levels and operational priorities.
• Inspect guest accommodation, bathrooms, communal areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet company standards.
• Ensure rooms are cleaned, checked, and ready for guest arrivals within the required timeframes.
• Train, guide, and motivate team members, promoting teamwork and professional conduct.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, cleaning products, towels, and linen, reporting shortages when necessary.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and chemicals are used safely and correctly.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and health and safety concerns to the relevant department.
• Respond professionally to guest requests and housekeeping-related complaints.
• Maintain accurate cleaning schedules, inspection records, and shift handover reports.
