Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a luxury hotel team in central London. You will coach staff, supervise daily operations and ensure exceptional cleanliness across guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and coach the Housekeeping team to maintain high standards.
• Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks and monitor productivity.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Monitor statuses in the system and ensure requests are actioned promptly.
• Maintain equipment, trolleys, storage and pantries in good condition.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Support stock control and reporting of departmental requirements.
• Promote a safe working environment and compliance with hotel policies.

Duties and responsibilities related to theHousekeeping Supervisor role

• Lead, motivate and support the Housekeeping team by providing regular feedback, coaching and on-the-job training to maintain high performance and service standards.


• Conduct daily team briefings, allocate tasks and monitor productivity to ensure efficient operation and timely completion of duties.


• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure exceptional cleanliness, presentation and compliance with hotel standards.


• Monitor room statuses and housekeeping tasks through Hotsos, ensuring requests, maintenance issues and guest requirements are actioned promptly.


• Ensure housekeeping equipment, trolleys, storage areas and pantries are maintained, well-stocked, organised and in safe working condition.


• Handle guest requests, concerns and housekeeping-related complaints professionally, taking immediate action to ensure guest satisfaction.


• Support stock control processes, including inventory checks, supply monitoring and accurate reporting of departmental requirements.


• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures, reporting hazards, incidents and maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
