Job summary

Swinton Estate is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Porter to support our housekeeping teams across Swinton Park Hotel, Swinton Country Club & Spa, and Swinton Bivouac. The role focuses on linen logistics, cleaning, and guest area presentation, with training provided.

You’ll work 32 hours over 5 days in a rotating schedule, including weekends and bank holidays, with a focus on reliability, organisation, and proactive teamwork.

Qualifications

Reliable, with a practical and proactive approach to work.
Eye for detail and pride in cleanliness and presentation.
Able to work confidently independently and in a team.
Flexible to a rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

Collect linen from multiple Swinton properties and transport to onsite laundry.
Operate laundry machines and equipment to prepare linen for use.
Sort, organise and restock clean linen and towels across estates.
Assist housekeeping in preparing and maintaining guest bedrooms.
Help keep corridors and public areas clean and well-presented.
Support recycling and responsible waste management practices.
Collaborate with Estate teams to maintain high cleanliness standards.
