Job description

The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are seeking a Housekeeping Porter to work within the team and report to the supervisor and coordinator. This role is responsible for contributing to the cleanliness of guest rooms, delivering linen, and fulfilling requests to ensure the comfort of our guests and residents. The Peninsula London offers a high level of service within a luxurious and elegant setting, with this position playing a key role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Key Accountabilities
  • Report directly to the Supervisor (Coordinator) and handle all guest and colleague requests, ensuring the cleanliness of all guest rooms, floors, pantries, toilets, and storage rooms when needed.
  • Liaise with the minibar/amenity team to ensure all rooms are serviced and replenished promptly. Assist in delivering fresh linen to pantries and aid with the placement of extra beds and baby cots according to standards.
  • Assist in removing baby cots, extra beds, etc., from departure rooms and storing them safely. Be trained in stripping checkout rooms during high occupancy for quick turnaround.
General Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel, focusing on guest room cleanliness.
  • Passion for quality luxury hotel service and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Excellent time management, organization skills, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work night shifts as required by operational needs.
