Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant for Greenholme House Care Home in Burley in Wharfedale. You will join a friendly team delivering high standards of cleanliness and laundry in a respectful, resident-centered environment.

You will follow our housekeeping procedures, uphold dignity and privacy, and support residents with compassion. British DBS check is required and eligibility to work in the UK must be demonstrated.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH.
• Experience cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high-quality housekeeping.
• Flexible and adaptable to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding cleaning requirements of surfaces and coverings and maintaining areas well presented.
• Ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect and privacy.
