About The Role

This is a practical and important position within the wider team, responsible for keeping all areas of the building clean, tidy and safe. From shared lounges to private rooms, the role supports a calm and hygienic environment that allows people to feel truly at home.

Main Responsibilities Include

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the property to a high standard
  • Supporting service users to keep their personal spaces clean, where appropriate
  • Assisting colleagues with general housekeeping tasks
  • Working to a rota or as directed by senior staff
  • Supporting new staff with housekeeping routines as needed
  • Attending training and contributing to team meetings
  • Following COSHH guidance and all relevant Health & Safety procedures

  • An understanding of the importance of a clean and respectful environment
  • Basic computer literacy for completing e-learning and workplace communication
  • No specific experience is required, but previous work in a care setting is welcomed
