About The Role
This is a practical and important position within the wider team, responsible for keeping all areas of the building clean, tidy and safe. From shared lounges to private rooms, the role supports a calm and hygienic environment that allows people to feel truly at home.
Main Responsibilities Include
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the property to a high standard
- Supporting service users to keep their personal spaces clean, where appropriate
- Assisting colleagues with general housekeeping tasks
- Working to a rota or as directed by senior staff
- Supporting new staff with housekeeping routines as needed
- Attending training and contributing to team meetings
- Following COSHH guidance and all relevant Health & Safety procedures
What Is Needed
- A caring, reliable and hardworking approach
- An understanding of the importance of a clean and respectful environment
- Basic computer literacy for completing e-learning and workplace communication
- No specific experience is required, but previous work in a care setting is welcomed
