Job summary

KIMS Hospital in Boxley is seeking a dedicated housekeeper/clearer to maintain high standards of cleanliness across patient rooms, bathrooms and communal areas. The role includes night shifts from 22:00 to 06:00 with a pay rate of £13.20 per hour.

You will work with the housekeeping team, adhere to infection control guidelines and ensure COSHH-compliant procedures are followed. A proactive, flexible approach and good teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Have previous housekeeping / cleaning experience within a similar environment
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess some knowledge of COSHH, the guidelines that surround this legislation and how these would be applied within a clinical setting
• Demonstrate a flexible approach, responding to the needs of the department
• Be a good team player

Responsibilities

• To provide a high-quality housekeeping service to all areas including patient rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring that excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are both achieved and maintained.
• Support the housekeeping team in delivering of excellent patient service across all areas and departments of the hospital.

Working hours: This department work shifts between Monday -Sunday, 10pm – 6am

Salary: £13.20 per hour
