Job summary

Caron Group is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for its family of care homes in mid and south Wales. The role covers all housekeeping tasks to maintain high cleanliness across areas and rooms, under the Housekeeper or nurse-in-charge, with flexibility for 0 hours contracts.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and have a good work ethic.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of Health & Safety measures to reduce infection by following guidance.
• Use cleaning products correctly and refer to COSHH guidance.
• Wear safety clothing and equipment when using products.
• Be responsible for all in-house cleaning and laundry as directed by the Housekeeper.
• Work as scheduled by the Housekeeper to meet residents' needs.
• Maintain the high standard of cleanliness in the Home at all times.
• Promote dignity, respect, freedom and choice for all residents.
• Attend staff meetings as required by the Home Manager.
