Job summary

Caron Group are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our family of care homes in Mid and South Wales. You will undertake all housekeeping tasks and laundry as directed by the Housekeeper and nurse-in-charge, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and supporting infection control across the home.

You will work as part of a friendly team, upholding dignity and respect for residents, and you must be physically fit with a good work ethic.

Qualifications

• Awareness of Health & Safety measures to reduce cross infection.
• Ability to follow COSHH guidance when using products.
• Commitment to cleanliness and high standards in all areas of the home.

Responsibilities

• To undertake all housekeeping duties and laundry as directed by the Housekeeper.
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness in all areas and rooms.
• Respond to nurses' requests to ensure cleanliness and infection control.
• Promote dignity, respect, and choice for residents at all times.
• Attend training as required and adhere to Health & Safety policies.
