Job summary

Caron Group is a family of care homes across mid and south Wales. We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas and rooms within our Home. You will work under the Housekeeper and nurse-in-charge, operating in a team or independently with emphasis on dignity, privacy and resident comfort.

The role emphasises health and safety, COSHH compliance and professional conduct. This is a 0 hours contract and offers a friendly, supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Basic housekeeping responsibilities including cleaning and laundry as directed.
• Ability to operate in line with health & safety and infection control guidelines.
• Capable of working both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas and rooms in the Home.
• Follow housekeeper instructions and work as scheduled to meet residents' needs.
• Adhere to COSHH guidance and use safety clothing and equipment as required.
• Support nurses and respond to requests to ensure cleanliness and infection control.
