Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, Medirest, is looking for a full-time Cleaner to join our healthcare cleaning and facilities team, contracted to 37.5 hours per week with flexible day shifts.

You will dust, mop, sanitize all areas, restock supplies and help keep NHS Trusts and private hospitals safe and hygienic. Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience in a similar role is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensuring surfaces, floors, windows and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Performing spillages quickly and efficiently.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste.
• Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies.
• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
