Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking an Evening Cleaner to join our healthcare cleaning team in Bracknell. The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with shifts after 19:00, 5 days a week including occasional Sunday hours.

You will dust, mop, and sanitise to high standards, support stores with stock of Cleaning supplies, and work alongside healthcare facilities staff to maintain clean, safe environments for clients and patients.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles preferred but not essential.
• Able to follow health and safety guidelines.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible with shifts and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise designated areas to a high standard.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces.
• Ensure touchpoints and surfaces are cleaned regularly.
• Restock cleaning supplies and manage bin waste.
• Work with the cleaning team to maintain hygienic environments.

We're currently recruiting a part time Evening Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Healthcare, contracted to 16 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. If you're a committed Cleaner looking for a role you'll shine in, we've got the position for you.

Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 days

• Monday: 3 hours, 19:00–22:00
• Tuesday: 3 hours, 19:00–22:00
• Wednesday: 3 hours, 19:00–22:00
• Thursday: 3 hours, 19:00–22:00
• Friday: Off
• Saturday: Off
• Sunday: 5 hours, 17:00–22:00 (4 contracted hours + 1 hour overtime)

The company can be flexible with the start time however, due to business requirements, the candidate must start after 19:00

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
