Job summary

Cinnamon in Topsham, Exeter, is seeking a hardworking Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant to join our care home team. You will ensure the home, furnishings and linen are clean and safe, supporting high standards of hygiene.

This full-time role is 40 hours per week, including alternate weekend shifts, with full training and ongoing development offered, and a benefits package including uniform, paid DBS and company perks.

Qualifications

• Physically and medically able to carry out duties.
• Compassionate and caring nature.
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Previous housekeeping/laundry experience in a residential care setting.
• Full training and support is provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the home, furnishings, equipment and linen to high standards.
• Ensure hygiene and safety at all times in line with policy.
• Work as part of the team with weekend rotation as required.
• Help with general housekeeping and laundry tasks.
