Job summary

Advinia Health Care in Wakefield is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support Residents with daily living tasks and personal care, ensuring dignity and independence. You will work closely with residents and families to deliver person-centred support.

Full training is provided, with a comprehensive induction, and opportunities for professional development as part of a supportive team within our 36 UK care homes.

Qualifications

• Fantastic people skills and empathy are essential.
• Able to build strong relationships and communicate well.
• Caring by nature with a genuine passion for helping others.
• Able to work well in a team and also on your own initiative.
• No previous care experience required; comprehensive induction and training provided.

Responsibilities

• Respect residents’ dignity and privacy.
• Provide person-centred support to promote independence.
• Work with residents and families to deliver person-centred care.
• Assist with personal care: feeding, toileting, bathing.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date care records.

The day shift is: 08:00 - 20.00
The night shift is: 20:00 – 08:00

Your Responsibilities

• Respecting the Residents’ dignity and privacy
• Providing the highest standard of person-centred support to the Residents’ to be as independent as possible and encouraging them to do as much for themselves as they can.
• Working with Residents’ and families to deliver person↨centered↨care.
• Supporting with all aspects of personal care; feeding, toileting, bathing.
• Maintaining thorough and up to date records on each Residents’.
