As a Housekeeping Assistant, your goal will be to maintain a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be key. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning, you’ll do so with kindness and professionalism.

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although training will be provided. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, and communication skills—both listening and instructing—are vital. You will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues will receive safeguarding training relevant to their role, and additional training may be required. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately.
