Yarnley House Care Home in Crow, near Ringwood, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. The role covers room and communal area cleaning, laundry duties, and strict adherence to infection control.
You will join a small, compassionate team; weekend work is required on an alternating basis; DBS is paid for; you will receive a pension and uniform. The position offers a stable full-time contract in a premium care setting.
Our brand-new, luxury service is set in the small village of Crow, which is very close to Ringwood. We provide quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for 72-residents.
As Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services. This is a varied, hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will directly impact comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing.
You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Alongside this, you will support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will contribute to a well organised and comfortable environment where individuals feel respected and supported.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
