Job summary

Moor House School & College is seeking a reliable cleaner to join our on-site team in Oxted, Surrey. The role covers cleaning across the School and College facilities, including the Sports Hall and Swimming Pool area, with some light maintenance tasks and working from heights where required.

Situated close to a mainline station with direct links to London, the school is located in a beautiful rural setting on the Kent and Surrey borders. Moor House provides a differentiated mainstream curriculum to students aged from 7 to 19.

An enthusiastic, hard-working individualis required tomaintainthe highest standards of cleaning to the School and College. Flexibility isrequiredwith working hours which could be within the times of 6:00am to 8:00pm. This role can involve early starts and evening working.

Duties involve cleaning thecommon areasof the School & College, including the Sports Hall and Swimming Pool area. Candidates will need to be comfortable with working from heights and light lifting as the role will also includeroutine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, cleaning windows, light fittings,floorsand school vehicles.Whilstpreviousexperience is not essential, suitable candidates will need todemonstratea commitment towards providing a high standard of cleaning and working with minimal supervision. Experience of using floor cleaning machinery is desirable.
