Job summary

Burgess Hill School is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the campus, including classrooms, offices, laboratories, boarding areas, and communal spaces. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently met.

You will work with a supportive team, follow established cleaning schedules, assist with preparing areas for events, and uphold health and safety across the site.

Job Description

This role involves cleaning a variety of areas, including classrooms, offices, laboratories, boarding accommodation, communal spaces, and washrooms, ensuring high standards are consistently met.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will follow established cleaning schedules, assist with preparing areas for school events, and contribute to maintaining health and safety standards throughout the site. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Full training, uniform, and protective equipment are provided.
