Job summary

Coombe Boys' School is seeking a reliable School Cleaner for a fixed-term maternity cover. The role is part-time (15 hours per week) with shifts from 3.15pm to 6.15pm, Monday to Friday and the possibility of one Saturday per month.

The position supports cleaning across the school premises and joins the team of site staff until August 2027. The successful candidate will work within a trusted, high-performing school community, contributing to a safe and clean environment for students and staff.

We are looking to appoint a reliable, dedicated and hardworking person to join our team of site staff for a fixed period of one year, until August 2027. The post holder will join the team of cleaning staff to provide excellent cleaning of the school premises. Hours are 3.15pm - 6.15pm, Monday to Friday with the flexibility to work one Saturday per month.

Coombe Boys' is a popular and highly successful non-selective 11-18 school that is federated with Coombe Girls' School, three local primary schools, and three well-regarded special schools to comprise the Helix Learning Trust, based in New Malden. Coombe Boys' has approximately 1,000 students on roll, including a mixed sixth form.

Results at GCSE and in the Sixth Form are significantly above national averages and the school was graded Good with Outstanding Leadership & Management in its most recent Ofsted inspection (September 2023).
