Advinia Health Care is seeking dedicated cleaning staff to help maintain high standards of cleanliness in our care homes across the UK. You will play a vital role in ensuring bedrooms, corridors and public areas remain clean and inviting for residents and staff alike.

The role offers induction training, supportive team culture and opportunities for ongoing development. A physically active position, it emphasizes pride in work and strong communication with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Keep bedrooms, corridors and public areas clean and tidy to the required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to): Emptying waste bins and wiping out.
• Vacuuming, throughout and mopping; clean dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
• Clean taps and sinks; restock toiletries as required.
• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to): Polish mirrors; dust handrails, radiators, furniture and windowsills; wash floors.
• Dusting pictures, light bulbs and fittings; restock storage areas.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested; keep storage areas clean and stocked.

Your Duties...

• Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the
• required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Emptying waste bins and wiping out.
• Vacuuming throughout and mopping
• Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
• Cleaning taps and sinks.
• Spot cleaning all floorings.
• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Polishing all mirrors.
• Dusting handrails and radiators.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills.
• Washingfloors.
• Dusting pictures.
• Dusting light bulbs and fittings.
• Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.
• Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.
• Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.
