Job summary

Advinia Health Care is seeking motivated cleaners to join its team in the United Kingdom. You will help maintain hygienic spaces across bedrooms, corridors and public areas within care homes, following high cleaning standards and safety procedures.

The role emphasises teamwork, physical effort and a caring approach to residents and colleagues. A comprehensive induction and ongoing training support career development.

Qualifications

• Role is physically demanding, but this motivates you to perform at your best.
• Supportive and strong communication skills are important for teamwork.
• Caring by nature with a positive and proactive attitude.
• No prior experience required; we provide a comprehensive induction and training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of bedrooms, corridors and public areas.
• Daily cleaning tasks: emptying bins, wiping surfaces, vacuuming and mopping.
• Clean dining rooms, lounges, lavatories, taps and sinks; spot-clean floors.
• Weekly duties include polishing mirrors, dusting railings, furniture and windowsills.
• Keep storage areas tidy, assist with Linen Room duties and stock supplies.

Your Duties...

• Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the
• required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Emptying waste bins and wiping out.
• Vacuuming throughout and mopping
• Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
• Cleaning taps and sinks.
• Spot cleaning all floorings.
• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Polishing all mirrors.
• Dusting handrails and radiators.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills.
• Washingfloors.
• Dusting pictures.
• Dusting light bulbs and fittings.
• Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.
• Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.
• Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.
