Job summary

Advinia Health Care is seeking a dedicated cleaner for our UK care homes in Louth. You will be responsible for daily cleaning across bedrooms, corridors and public areas to high standards. The role involves vacuuming, mopping, waste removal and cleaning dining rooms, with additional tasks such as linen duties when required.

The position offers a comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and a supportive team environment. Flexible pay and a pension scheme are among the benefits provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, corridors and public areas to required standard.
• Carry out daily cleaning tasks (waste bins, vacuuming, mopping, dining rooms).
• Spot clean floors, dust furniture, wipe surfaces.
• Assist with linen duties and keep storage areas tidy.

Your Duties...

• Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the
• required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Emptying waste bins and wiping out.
• Vacuuming throughout and mopping
• Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
• Cleaning taps and sinks.
• Spot cleaning all floorings.
• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Polishing all mirrors.
• Dusting handrails and radiators.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills.
• Washingfloors.
• Dusting pictures.
• Dusting light bulbs and fittings.
• Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.
• Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.
• Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.
