Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant at Braintree Mews Care Home to maintain cleanliness and laundry to hotel-style standards. You will follow worksheet instructions, protect residents’ dignity, and support a team in daily duties within a care home setting.

Experience in cleaning laundry in public settings and knowledge of health and safety (moving and handling, fire safety, COSHH) are valued, with a disclosure check required and employer-covered costs.

The work centres on cleaning to worksheet instructions, working to hotel-style service standards, and protecting residents' dignity and personal belongings. It suits someone who has already worked on laundry in a public setting and knows health and safety basics such as moving and handling and fire safety.
