Naomi House & Jacksplace in Sutton Scotney is seeking two dedicated Housekeepers to maintain high cleaning standards and create a welcoming, home-from-home environment for families. The role supports the Housekeeping Supervisor and Care Team across hospice and office spaces.

Two vacancies offer full- and part-time patterns with a strong emphasis on reliability, initiative and attention to detail in a compassionate charity setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality cleaning services across our hospice and office spaces.
  • Prepare children's, young adults' and family accommodation to ensure a comfortable stay.
  • Maintain clean, tidy and safe communal areas for families, staff and visitors.
  • Keep communal kitchens clean, stocked and welcoming.
  • Monitor cleanliness standards and report any issues.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.

At Naomi and Jack's, we provide expert hospice care and support to children, young adults and their families during some of life's most challenging times. Our hospices are places of warmth, comfort and compassion, where every detail matters in helping families feel at home.

We are looking for two dedicated Housekeepers to join our team and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, safe and clean environment for the children, young people, families, colleagues and visitors who spend time with us.

About the Role:

As a Housekeeper, you will work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and Care Team to ensure our hospice environments are maintained to the highest standards. From preparing bedrooms and family accommodation to keeping communal areas spotless and welcoming, your contribution will help create a home-from-home experience for families who need it most.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be trusted to work independently, use your initiative and take pride in maintaining exceptional standards throughout our sites

What You'll be Doing
  • Delivering high-quality cleaning services across our hospice and office spaces.

Hours and Benefits:

Hours of Work:

  • One x full-time - working 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 4.30pm working Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur/Fri and includes working 1 in every 4 Sunday's, with a day off the following week.
  • One x part-time - working 16 hours per week, 3pm to 7pm - Tues/Wed/Thur/Fri

    Hourly rate of pay: £13.91, may also attract additional enhancement for weekend working.
